Anytime traveling is more common tickets will be expensive. That means thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Summer time, especially while school is out for summer break. Spring break can also be slightly more. It's smarter to schedule trips outside of common times when people travel to visit family or are off of school or work.

Yes. Very much so.
Yes. Why do you keep asking this question.
Yes
They can be. There's a finite supply of seats and once they start to run out, the prices do not go down. It also depends on where you're going, actual dates and when you bought your ticket. Many factors. But if you're trying to buy tickets now, it's gonna be expensive. If you bought them back in june, you probably would have gotten a good deal.
The law of supply and demand. Christmas and Thanksgiving works in the airlines favor. The one thing you can do, is if your plans allow you to travel on Christmas day, you can save a ton of money on that trip, but your return trip will still be fairly pricy

- If companies stopped making supersonic planes like the concorde because it was too noisy expensive why are they bringing them back? Companies like nasa lockheed martin are working on supersonic air travel And colorado company boom is developing a 55 seater plane So if companies are working on supersonic travel does that mean airlines will have to cancel their boeing 787 dreamliner or airbus A350 orders or any widebody orders due to supersonic travel
- Why are airline sales prices more expensive coming home than going to an destination? Its more expensive to come home from vacation than traveling to a destination with airlines why is that so
- Do the earphone / headphones handed out during a flight need to be returned to the airline? Or is it ok to take them? On long flights, the flight attendants normally distribute earphones/ headphones. When landing at an airport to enter / return to a country, is it OK to "take" the earphones and make them mine permanently? Or does the airline need them back? I have always left the earphones on my seat before getting off the plane.
