Going on holiday but family don't know i smoke
I'm 15 and going on holiday for 2 weeks, i have been smoking almost 2 years and am highly addicted. I'm worried about taking cigarettes and a lighter on the plane because i will get caught at airport security. What should i do? Don't tell me to stop smoking because i'm not planning on stopping!
I wouldnt take thern if you don't want airport security bothering you
You are fine with getting lung cancer, throat cancer, mouth cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc but you are afraid of your parents? Obviously you are too immature to smoke.
The lighter, not on a plane
Why don't you plan on stopping? Surely you're aware of how unhealthy it is?
Airport security don't care if you carry cigarettes; you just can't smoke on the plane or within the airport.
(Smoking is stupid)
Do you really think that your family does not notice that you stink of cigarette smoke?
Airport security doesn't care about those things - they are allowed on the plane. The lighter will have to be in your carry-on bag though. I'd be more concerned about them catching you while on vacation.
This is simply not of any interest to the security officers. You can smoke yourself to death but you won't be a threat to any flight, and that is their ONLY concern.
If the lighter looks suspicious on the scan, they'll search your bag and take it out. Either take matches or go buy a lighter when you get there. If you are able to sneak off to smoke, you can sneak off to a store. As someone whose brother-in-law died a slow, painful death from lung cancer from smoking, I think you're being incredibly stupid. But that's the thing about being 15- the part of your brain that makes rational decisions won't be fully developed for another 6-7 years.
If you have them in your carry on bag that is fine, a safety lighter or safety matches are also fine. They aren't looking for cigarettes or lighters, but anything they think is suspicious they will consider searching your bag.
At 15, I also smoked and didn't care, now over 40 years later I've been smoke free for 35 years. Some grow out of it, others realise too late that it is killing them.
- WHAT IS THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF GOING ON HOLIDAY FROM BOOKING TO THE TICKETS TO LANDING IN THE COUNTRY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN? So I have just turned 18 and there are many important things that we're not taught and there's no other way us young people can learn these things. So someone please state the entire process. All I know is that somehow you buy tickets and then there's a whole process in the airport. (Please can you talk about visas, hotels, how long you can stay etc)
- My brother put the wrong date of birth when booking a holiday? Me and My stupid brother who is 21 are going on holiday together I will be 17 when we go on holiday. He has put my date of birth as 2000 instead of 2002 does it matter? It's the same birthday just the wrong year. My friend who is an air hostess said it doesn't matter because there's no date of birth of boarding passes or anything like that. Flying from a uk airport
