ANA/United codeshare or Delta for flying to Japan?
So my dad and I are thinking about flying to Japan next summer, and we're unsure about what airline to take.
First of all, we live in the Huntsville, AL, area, but flying out of the Huntsville airport is expensive. Our two main options are to either fly out of Nashville on a United flight to Chicago and then connect to a nonstop ANA flight to Tokyo, or just take Delta nonstop to Tokyo from Atlanta. Which option would be better?
It is better to avoid changing planes if you can. If it were me then I would fly out of ATL on Delta rather than change planes in Chicago.
- American Airlines vs Delta vs United Airlines? I'm traveling from New Orleans to Miami. I'm using an app called trip adiviser and Skyscanner to get cheap tickets and would like to know which out of the three airlines are a better choice. If anyone who reads this has experienced anything life threatening or traumatizing on while using one of these airlines please share! Is Southwest Airlines a better choice than the three listed above?
- Do Delta and ANA now have a codeshare or interline agreement? I went to Delta's site and on a returning ticket from Osaka to Atlanta, a connecting flight was shown on ANA going from Osaka to Tokyo. Do the two airlines have some kind of agreement now?
- Overnight layover in Japan without visa I'm a Philippine passport holder? I'm travelling from Canada to Manila via Haneda Airport in Japan, do i need visa for an overnight layover?
- Flying Basic Economy with United and American Airlines? I booked two round tickets but didn't realize they were basic economy. They will be 4 hour long trips and I was wondering if it was as bad as they say? Or would anyone recommend an upgrade? It's my first time flying and United doesn't allow carry on bag is that bad? American Airlines does allow it.
