Can airport security detect thc in edibles?
When bags go on that conveyor belt, does it detect thc in edibles like brownies?
Nope.
The x-ray doesn't, but the drug dogs do.
The dogs in the back will detect it.
Unless the edibles look like a weapon they won't. However, if something else in the bag alerts the screeners and they hand search the bag they may notice it.
If they are using drug dogs while you are in the airport you may also be discovered that way.

The machines won't detect it. But if there are drug dogs in the area, they certainly will.
The x-rays is there to detect threats to air travel such as weapons or explosives. However, if your bag is selected for inspection and illicit substances is found, the situation will be referred to local law enforcement for resolution. Recommend that you leave this stuff at home until the laws change. The screening workforce have enough headaches already.

I hope to meet my brother and sister and possibly other relatives. The problem is I will have to step out of security and then go through security a second time. I'm going to a foreign county. Is this going to be complicated? Any comments? Suggestions?

I'm going to the airport today to go to Colorado and last time i went my mom had her phone confiscated because she forgot to take it out of her pocket during the screening and they forced her to unlock it while they went through it. Will they do that with me? I'm worried i'm not going to unlock it for them i will refuse
