What percent of airline crews die in airplane accidents?
What percent of airline crews die in airplane accidents? - 1
When it comes to larger aircraft, I would say most but not all but I'm sure the little weenie avgeek know-it-alls would have exact percentages
It's pretty high. 400%
When it's a bad crash, usually 100%.
Do you mean when there's an airplane accident? Because 0 have died in the last 16 years- at least in US commercial airlines. The rate of on the job death and injury to airline crews is much lower than for police officers, fire fighters, construction workers, and many other professions. Not all airline incidents result in deaths-take the airplane that landed on the Potomac, and all the people got out safely.
- Do any airplane companies do payment plans? I'm trying to get a flight for my kid but it's hard to get the money on time with bills and whatnot so I was curious is there a payment plan i can do with certain airports like preorder and pay by the date
- Will Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 or Bombardier C series halt Airplane production in near future? Due to Pilot shortage and electric airplanes Will regional airlines go out of business Are small airlines doomed due to pilot shortage so what are they doing to solve
- Will I need a second seat on an airplane? My grade 12 band class is going on a summer break field trip to Ontario next week but I'm worried I might need a 2nd seat. I read a PDF on airplane seats and apparently they range from 17-18 inches and my "surface measurement" is around 23-24 inches. Would the airline be a little more lenient since its a whole class trip? I could use some feedback because I might just end up not going. It would be super embarrassing if I had to get a second seat in front of my class.
- What is the possibility of being in an airplane and the plane crashing? Kinda scared that with all the technology we have, there are still air plane crashes. i personally never worried about this but now that i'm thinking about the latest plane crash with the Ethiopian airlines that killed 157 passengers has me scared… Thoughts?
