Is this photo taken in an area in Hong Kong international airport or some other country?
An online friend is claiming she missed her flight and needs 700.00 to complete her flight however I'm doubting she is in hong kong
Added (1). She claims she is flying to my home city to start a job there once she arrives
Probably.
Hum… You only knew her from online? Probably a scammer. She wants cash? That photo looks like a casino. It looks like the wynn macau or one of those casinos which is across the bay from Hong kong.
Plus that's just not a pose of a distraught traveler. And no one has any luggage?
Baloney, dear. This is an old scam. They always miss their flight, have the wrong documentation, end up in a hospital, get robbed, get into a car wreck, etc. It's always some catastrophe and they want you to send money, often through Western Union. Use logic; it can save you from losing money to scammers. Remember, a fool and his money are soon parted.
Scam.
That is defiantly not Hong Kong international airport. I can say this with 100% certainty as I have been there.
Scammer? And you have never met her in person?
She might be in Hong Kong, but this is certainly not any area of the airport that's open to the public. I know the airport well.
I have some magic beans for sale.
Scam. Please tell me you didn't buy the original ticket.
Definitely not HKIA. Looks more like an art museum. Time to unfriend this online friend.
- My passport photo is so ugly but I just got it? My passport that I renewed just came in the mail, and the photo is so ugly. I waited four weeks for it and am going on vacation next week. I'm so mad at myself. My face looks so big and it's just plain ugly. I'm embarrassed when I go to the airport. People might laugh when they see my photo. It's really really ugly. What do I do?
- Will Ryanair refund tickets when my son (although not flying) has been taken into hospital seriously ill? I was due to fly with Ryanair this week but my son has been taken into hospital so I can't go away (and other kids are all seriously ill at home with chronic diarrhoea. Plus I have had the same until today. Will Ryanair refund the costs? Or do I leave my partner to look after the kids and fly despite all the illnesses?
- As a Canadian can I stay in a European country longer than my flight layover on the way to an Asian country? E.g. Leaving the Frankfurt airport as a stopover and staying in the city for a week before resuming the rest of the flight to Asia?
- Why didn't more planes crash at Hong Kong Kai Tak airport? It looked like a very dangerous airport with pilots having to fly close to mountains and high-rise buildings and making a sharp almost right angle turn to line with the runway manually. Why were there so few accidents and crashes? Why didn't more planes crash into the skyscrapers like on 9/11?
