Have you ever flown into an airport and immediately flew out again on a different aircraft?
Yes
Yes. Plenty of times.
THey re called connecting flights.
Several times.
Yes. The plane I was flying had something wrong with it (I can't remember what), so I landed and got a different one. But it's not *immediately* immediately. There's a process of checking the first aircraft back in and checking the second aircraft out, then doing the preflight inspection all over again.
Thanks for the BA. The only airport I/we every flew into was the Zurich Airport in 1968, I think it was 68. My girlfriend (later my wife) were staying at a place called Seefeld in the Alps for 7 days. Jeesuz! That 6/7 hour coach ride from the airport was bleedin scary. The plane was an old Dakota prop that carried 36 people, yes! That was also a scary 2 hour flight from Heathrow and the only one I ever took in my life.
My wife's been all over the world and thought nothing of it.
Yes.
Sure have .huston .newark .paris
It depends on how long is immediate. You have to land, deplane, go to another gate, board a second plane and take off. That looks like two hours at best.
You flyboys crack me up!
Yes, I have
- Has it ever happened where an arriving plane had to take off immediately because there was no parking space at airport? Is it mandatory that all arriving planes have a parking space available? What IF it were to happen? What would be the solution?
- Right now both main Mexican Airlines are all Boeing, with Aeromexico have 71 Boeing Aircraft and Mexicana having 79 Boeing Aircraft? Both Airlines are heavily subsidized by the Mexican Government. If you were were Mexico, wouldn't you STOP buying Boeing, and buy European AIrbus from now on?
- If I'm in transit in one airport to go to another airport (different country), do I haveto go through custom and immigration again? I plan to go to Nashville and has to touch down in London The lay over is an hour and a half. Do I have to check in, go through custom and immigration again? I'm really concern not having sufficient time to be on the next plane.
- Do you ever eat at airport restaurants after flying into your home airport? - 1 If not, why? The other day I was waiting to pick up family members at my home airport and a worker at an airport restaurant greeted me and asked how I was and what I was up to, so I stated that I was picking up family members that are flying in and the worker says "well hey you guys should come by for some dinner on your way out" I just wondered if there's ever a possibility any of you eat at airport restaurants after arriving into your home airport.
