Do you ever eat at airport restaurants after flying into your home airport? - 1
If not, why?
The other day I was waiting to pick up family members at my home airport and a worker at an airport restaurant greeted me and asked how I was and what I was up to, so I stated that I was picking up family members that are flying in and the worker says "well hey you guys should come by for some dinner on your way out"
I just wondered if there's ever a possibility any of you eat at airport restaurants after arriving into your home airport.
How often do you plan on asking this question?
I wouldn't spend any longer in most airports than I had to, they are not nice places.
No. Some airports do have decent restaurants but they're generally overpriced at the airport. There are usually better and cheaper places after you leave the airport and staying at the airport can cost you even more in parking fees.
No, I book it for the car
Why no? You have to eat somewhere, don't you?
Oh, for crying out loud! How many times are you going to keep asking the same question? Do you want to get yourself banned?
No. Can't do. After getting your bags you need go outside. You would need recheck those bags & pay the airport fee. To go upstairs to eat at the cafe there. Not much there a sandwich & some good local coffee is about it. Best to walk across the street. There you will see a number of tents with local food. Good but overpriced. Around $3 to $4 for a good meal with a drink. I find it best to wait. Leave the airport & take the coast road. Every village has a cafe with good fresh sea food along the coast. For around $2 a meal with drink. I do like eating on the local side in Manila. They have a Wendies there. Only one in the Country I think. Quite a treat that is. But very expensive to eat there.
- Did you bring dildo in your checked baggage when you travel internationally before? What's your story in the airport? I know this is some sort of a weird and personal question, but I'm wondering if I can bring 7 inch dildo. Lol! Please don't judge? I just wanted to know if this would cause someone to ask me to open my luggage. I'm travelling to Singapore and US
- Has anyone gotten a connected flight, far from home, but it connected to an airport near your homw? Has anyone gotten a cheap flight, thats kinda far from your home, but it connects to a airport near your home? My question is, I want to get a flight that the airport is about 3 hours away. But it's cheaper than the airport near my home., But it connects to the airport near my home, so instead of driving 3 hours I would drive 40 minutes and get on the plane there, is that able to work? Or no? Lol
- Airports - what do you do when a porter asks you for your passport in order to take you to the front of the line? So, you're waiting in a long line at the airport and an airport employee comes up and assertively asks you if he can take you to the front of the line. He then asks you for your passport in order to do so. Has this ever happened to you? How do you respond?
