Are fruits allowed in your carry on bag?

What about some cans of beans and ravioli?

i'm flying from Switzerland to London with Easyjet airlines. I'm gonna go to london for a weekend. And i wanna save as much money as i can. So i wanna bring some cheap foods. I don't wanna buy there because i think london is expensive, even the groceries. And pounds are very high in currency value. Even quite higher that swiss francs. So i wanna just buy my fruits and canned foods from here. And eat it when i get to london. But is fruits and canned foods allowed on board?

Added (1). WHAT ABOUT FROZEN BAGUETTES?

Probably not, as it might carry some foreign fruit disease that could invade their country. You can't carry then in between some states in the US

No.
The liquid in the cans rule them out right away
Disease in fruit is also a problem.

You can take canned goods in your checked baggage, just be aware of the weight because you could be charged a huge amount if your bag is overweight! You can't take fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, or meat.

" i think london is expensive"
You're coming from Switzerland. You won't find London expensive.

Fruit can be carried in your carry on bag.
Canned food like you mention is counted as a liquid and has to be of the appropriate size for other liquids.

In your checked bag you could fill it with caned food.
The AIRLINE does not care.
Have a nice flight.

You ahhow what you have when you land in UK. UK Customs will decide what you can keep. What stuff there might be an import fee and the stuff not allowed.
The same for anyone that arrives from some particular country be it by ship parachute or airplane.

Airline is not and never has been the Import Control Police for ANY COUNTRY. That is the job of Customs when the plane lands.

YES London can be expensive. So are the cities of Switzerland.

In general, the only food product that is allowed into a foreign country is what's in a manufacturer's sealed container.

You are coming from Switzerland and think London is expensive. I smell a troll.

Cans of beans really aren't expensive in London
