Traveling to a foreign country alone?
In a few weeks, I'll be traveling to a foreign country by myself. I'm from the US and I've never traveled by myself before but, I've traveled with my family on numerous occasions but never by myself. I was just wondering, I forget how you check in to an airport, so what's the process of doing that? I'm just having a mental block, probably because I'm nervous and excited. Also, any other tips for going through an airport, flying, or going through customs?
Just go to your airlines front desk and they will. Help you get your tickets and check your bags. Where are you going?
Methinks this will be the last time we hear from Tzip as they will soon be lost to the white slave/sex tradeā¦
Immigration - people who check. Your passport. You will go through immigration before you go through customs
Customs - people who check your luggage for items you either can't bring into a country or items which you have to pay duty (tax) on.
Google search for info - plenty out there. Do your homework on the countries visiting.
It's very odd that 12 months ago you asked a question while you were travelling through Nepal - or so you claimed. So you should know exactly what you need to do when travelling abroad!
- WHAT IS THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF GOING ON HOLIDAY FROM BOOKING TO THE TICKETS TO LANDING IN THE COUNTRY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN? So I have just turned 18 and there are many important things that we're not taught and there's no other way us young people can learn these things. So someone please state the entire process. All I know is that somehow you buy tickets and then there's a whole process in the airport. (Please can you talk about visas, hotels, how long you can stay etc)

An online friend is claiming she missed her flight and needs 700.00 to complete her flight however I'm doubting she is in hong kong She claims she is flying to my home city to start a job there once she arrives
- As a Canadian can I stay in a European country longer than my flight layover on the way to an Asian country? E.g. Leaving the Frankfurt airport as a stopover and staying in the city for a week before resuming the rest of the flight to Asia?
- How much money would we need (my girlfriend and I) as a foreign tourist to stay a week in Baguio city, near burnham park? Please exclude flight costs and bus fare into Baguio from the Manilla airport. Just lodging, food, and in city transportation.
