What would be the best option while I travel?

I want a dog but I go on holiday a couple of times a year what would be better

A. Go on 2 holidays that are 3-4 weeks long per year
B. Go on 3-4 holidays that are 2 weeks long per year

I will arrange for someone to stay at my house while I'm away. I have been given names for sitters who sit for friends/families pets. I also live close to a vet and my aunt lives close by incase of real emergencies.

Note. I do go on a couple of national holidays and for those they will join me.

No I can't take them on my international holidays because I don't trust airlines and I live in Australia and I can't drive across the ocean

If I decide to get a puppy I won't go at all until they are 12-18 months of age.

WHY are you trying to make a simple thing complicated.

your first away adventure can be short and over time you take a longer and longer vacation.

Some dogs do well when their human is absent others do not and you adjust the arrangements as necessary.

Fluffy has no desire to be stuffed in a kennel and hauled around in airplanes. Neither is there great joy being left in some strange room while you do what you do on your adventure. For a longer absence consider the possibility of a boarding kennel. Some are a resort for Fluffy to also have a vacation break.

Do not get a dog. It will tie you down for the next 15 years.
Your last sentence is confusing with 'they'. They means more than one, which is even worse.

  • Best airline to travel with if taking multiple suitcases? I'm traveling within the United States. I'm planning to leave for two months. So it's a lot of clothes and necessities. I'm looking for an airline company that includes luggage. Most airlines allow a carry on and additional charges for luggage. Any suggestions?
  • Southwest airlines Early Bird 36 hours check-in option? I purchased the Early Bird check in and it's supposed to let you check in 36 hours before the standard 24 hour check in. First question: Will it automatically check in for me? Second question: has anyone gotten this and still ended up getting the C group position?
  • Can a 13 year old travel over seas without The accompanied minor form, or would the airports stop me? I'm 13, flying to albania. I want to use Norwegian airlines they say that 12-15 year olds don't need the unapomponied minor form but I don't want to end up stuck anywhere. Does anyone know if the airports would stop me from boarding the flights?
  • Best airline for travel? My family and I are traveling from Newark, NJ (EWR) to Zurich, Switzerland (ZRH) in the 2020 summer. I was wondering what airline is the best for premium economy. Thanks! Thanks for the answers!
