Martial arts courses mention on CV for flight attendant position?
I make my CV for Emirates Airlines for an upcoming open day in my city. As long as I know from their website Emirates provide Security training to their cabin crew. So should I mention my Martial arts background and certifications on my CV? Would the recruiter mind?
Why would they 'mind' if you have a qualification in something that could be useful?
Not at all. Even if it wasn't job relevant, its still an accomplishment. Keep in mind that many forms of martial arts are sports related with very little practical use - unless you are trained in something like Brazilian Ju Jitsu or Krav Maga
- Do you need to wear a suit for a video interview for Delta airlines flight attendant? So I applied for flight attendant position and got invited to do a video interview. Just want to know if anyone who has done this video interview for flight attendant before if you need to wear a suit for it or is that only for the one on one interview?
- Why do pilots still go to bathroom without having flight attendant in the cockpit? Hi. I thought a flight attendant should go into the cockpit when one of the pilots go to the bathroom because of what the German wing first officer pilot did to the airbus plane. But I was surprised when I saw an Air France A318 pilot getting out of the cockpit and going to the bathroom without having a second person in the cockpit when I was traveling from Paris to Geneva two months ago. Isn't it very dangerous? I thought the rules were changed after that German wings incident?
- I've been applying to flight attendant positions and was wondering how much notice do airlines give you before you must attend training? How much time do you have to say goodbye to family, friends, etc before you go away to the training program? I applied to Delta, United, and American, so if there are varying time frames per airline, please let me know.
- Why does a flight attendant go in the cockpit when a pilot has to use the toilet? I was on a Ryanair flight and I noticed when the pilot came out to use the washroom the flight attendant would enter the cockpit. Why is that?
