I've been applying to flight attendant positions and was wondering how much notice do airlines give you before you must attend training?
How much time do you have to say goodbye to family, friends, etc before you go away to the training program?
I applied to Delta, United, and American, so if there are varying time frames per airline, please let me know.
Each one has scheduled classes such as "spring training" or "summer training". They don't just call you and tell you to get on the next bus
That would be up to each airline.
- How much money they will cut for refund fee? Or they will give me full money? Turkish airlines refused my tickets. I wanted to go Brazil to meet my wife from Dhaka Bangladesh. It was one way ticket.
- Do you need to wear a suit for a video interview for Delta airlines flight attendant? So I applied for flight attendant position and got invited to do a video interview. Just want to know if anyone who has done this video interview for flight attendant before if you need to wear a suit for it or is that only for the one on one interview?
- Which airline companies pay their future flight attendants during their training, and which airline companies are unionized? I also wanted to know which airline companies pay their future flight attendants during their training time, as well as which ones pay for their housing whether it be at a hotel somewhere or not. And which airline companies pay their flight attendants the best and treat their employees the best?
- I'm travelling with a 7mo baby on a overseas flight (BA). Anyone who has done it before could you give advise over what went right and wrong? What are the packing items I need to bring with me. Taking in consideration that the airline allows a bag for the baby but with size and weigh restrictions, and bearing in mind that it is a over 12 hrs flight
