MOST passengers never comment on their flights. A FEW Complain about something and a few praise their flight. WHAT IS YOUR REAL QUESTION.
Can anyone guarantee a perfect departure, perfect weather a perfect flight? NO

Most fly without incident. 100,000 flights a day. You hear about one or two flights not the 99,900. You hear about a lost bag from a thousand. You do not hear about 999 that were not lost.
You heard about some incident on ONE flight. You heard nothing about thousands of others.
There's minimal difference. In the size of seat, the length of flight. Fare can be different, departure time can be different.
CHEAP seat is cheap seat. Want the extras of full fare then pay full fare.

To Mexico City is to mean what. MOST want to board the plane at some place near them. Shall the world guess where that is.

The flight is a few hours long not weeks and weeks. NO ONE can guarantee the weather. NO ONE can guarantee departure time or arrival times.
Do you plan on flying many times a year? If not then not much point to worry about frequent travel things.

Did you want to know what movies may be on board, the menu for your flight, the liquor brands they serve? Policy on cancelled or delayed flight?
