Public transport Newark Airport to Citi Field, Queens, NY?
Public transport Newark Airport to Citi Field, Queens, NY?
Best way to travel is the least transfers within a reasonable price.
Newark Airport Express Bus to Grand Central Station and #7 Subway from Grand Central to Mets-Willets Point stop and walk from there.
Or, get off the Bus at Bryant Park and get on the #7 at Times Square for a slightly longer transfer walk, but gets you on the subway at second stop pretty much assuring a seat on a 7 Express.
You may need the airtran free service between terminals to get to the express bus.
You can use a shuttle to any of Times Square or Grand Central, or possibly all the way to Citi Field.
Probably contact them directly. It will end up costing more and not saving time

You can do more transfers and it should be a little cheaper to take trains. If traffic on roads is bad at the time, it can be faster

You can fly into La Guardia and take an Uber instead.
Newark air train to Newark Liberty air train station. Switch to NJ Transit train to Penn Station, NY. Switch to LIRR Port Washington line train to Mets-Willets Point station.
Take the train or bus to midtown. Then take the eastbound #7 subway from Times Square or Grand Central to Queens.
- What are some good areas that are suburban like near the Newark airport in New Jersey? My boyfriend recently got a job with Port Authority, but he lives 70 miles currently from the airport, now he's looking at apartments near the place, but not directly in Newark. He basically wants something that's less that's less than a 40 mile drive, a good area. My boyfriend and me are not from Jersey, so we have no idea what's a good area.
- Which Airport has the quickest and the cheapest public transport systems to Birmingham? Luton Airport or Stansted Airport? I will be visiting Birmingham, but I want to know which of these airports, Luton or Stansted has the cheapest and quickest transport systems to Birmingham. Could you please explain the cheapest and the quickest options available, Are there any bus or coach options that go from these airports direct to Birmigham, or do all transport services go to London first?
- Is Newark, NJ a bad place? I will be visiting Newark, NJ in June for a concert/convention, and i'm curious as to if the city is as bad of a place as I hear. My hotel is at the airport right outside the Ironbound area, and i'll ONLY be in the downtown area at the Prudential Center. I won't even be leaving the Prudential Center grounds except for when I use Uber and cabs to get back to the hotel. SO i'm just wondering if there's anything I would have to look out for.
- Transit at Newark Airport(EWR)? I'm planning to transit at EWR this month. However, I haven't been to there and don't know the route or system. Arrival terminal is B and departure terminal is C I want to see how to get there and some points I have to care.
