What are some good airline companies to work for, other than Delta?

Both international and non-international.

British airway, Qantas and Aer Lingus are all well known and offer good prospects. You start off as a cleaner and then you work your way up to drive through.

You presume to think that Delta is a good company, especially with all the problems.
The Good (American) Companies are ALL out of Business,
Sad that is.

I know people who are very happy working for American. Non-US airlines are less profit driven, and treat their customers better. I don't know about the employees.

They don't have to be based where you are. I know a pilot who lives in Nashville, but is based out of D.C. He just hops on a flight there whenever he is scheduled to fly. He and several other pilots keep a "crash pad" to sleep in when they only have a short layover between flights.

Non-international = domestic

Depends where you live and who has a base close to you or where you are willing to move to? AA main base are Dallas, etc. You need to do your homework and see where you could work from.

Singapore Airlines is great to work for, I hear

Working as what? Flight Attendant? Marketing?

Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific are great airlines. I would be proud to work for either one.

Whichever one that is located doing the sort of airline job you want to do. Because really the money from any of then is the same currency.
