Which is a better airline: United or Delta?
Which one has better benefits?
Jet blue is the best
Depends on different factors, like where you generally fly from. If you're in Chicago, United offers more, since that's the hub, if you're in Atlanta, then Delta may be considered better. United's frequent flyer program allows you to book tickets for other people using your account, and I believe Delta's is the same, so not much difference there. Personally, I prefer United, but I'm based in Chicago, so it gives me better options.
The "best" airlines is the one which has the flights that meet your needs for a particular trip - in terms of cost and schedule.
In terms of service, any particular flight can be wonderful or horrible on either airline.Neither is always flawless.
For different people it is a different airline. Where I live, Delta has more flights. However if you live in Denver or Chicago, then United may work out better because they have more flights. It also depends on where you plan to fly. After Delta's merger with Northwest, the airline is much stronger in Asia than pre-merger. United used to be weak in Latin America, but after the merger with Continental Airlines, they are stronger there now. Both airlines fly to many destinations and the cities they don't fly to, they have partner airlines in their respective alliances that should fly to where you need to go.
Overall Delta has received higher ratings for their service but there are also people who say that Delta is the worst airline. It really depends on your experience. I have flown both and am a member of both of their frequent flier programs. To me you really can't go wrong with either one. What I like about Delta is that their miles do not expire while United's expire after 18 months of inactivity. However I prefer United's airline partners over Delta based on the destinations I fly to.
Delta. Look up their respective stock performances over the past 10 years. I'm assuming you are referring to benefits, as in employee job benefits.
United

- ANA/United codeshare or Delta for flying to Japan? So my dad and I are thinking about flying to Japan next summer, and we're unsure about what airline to take. First of all, we live in the Huntsville, AL, area, but flying out of the Huntsville airport is expensive. Our two main options are to either fly out of Nashville on a United flight to Chicago and then connect to a nonstop ANA flight to Tokyo, or just take Delta nonstop to Tokyo from Atlanta. Which option would be better?
