How does it work? What are my options?
Soo I will be traveling from Orange County, California to Jakarta Indonesia I have to book a round trip flight. After Jakarta I want to go to Denver Colorado is my only option to return to Orange County for the round trip return destination then from the airport book another flight to Denver?
No, you can book one-way ticket from OC to Jakarta and then another from Jakarta to Denver. You can also search it on the internet as a multi-stop trip.
There used to be a huge penalty for buying one-way tickets but these days it seems that is something of the past.
You aren't going to travel from OC to Indonesia.
You are going to fly from LA to Indonesia, your best bet is to spend the few minutes driving to LAX instead of going to OC, taking a puddle jumper to LAX and then on to Indonesia.
There are no direct flights from Indonesia to Denver. You are going to have to stop in LA, SF, DFW, before getting to Denver.
You are probably better off doing a roundtrip to LAX and then a separate flight to Denver.
You have to show a flight out of Indonesia, preferably to your country of departure.
No, you can book a multi-city itinerary rather than a roundtrip. That will result in a ticket from Orange County to Jakarta and a ticket from Jakarta to Denver. You need to have a ticket to depart Indonesia but it doesn't have to go back to where you flew in from.

- How does checked-in baggage work with layover/multiple airlines? Will be flying to Romania. I start with Iberia Airlines and layover in Barcelona for about 2 hrs. Then I fly to Bucharest with Blue Air. Normally when flying with layovers, it's one airline so I know it's forwarded to my final destination. But this is my first itinerary where I switch airlines at my layover; would that mean my baggage is forwarded to Blue Air anyways, or do I need to pick it up and check it in a second time?
- How does a stop over work in Hanoi? Hi! I'm about to fly from Sydney - Hanoi - London and i'm a bit worried about the stop over because I don't know what to do… Do I have to go to customs? Do I just go straight to the gate? if someone could maybe make like a detailed list of how it works e.g 1. Get of plane… 2. Go through customs… Or however it works. It would be so appreciated… i'm only staying there for 3 hours so I will stay in the airport… Go to the lounge or whatever.
- How does an international layover at ATL airport work? This is my first time having a layover on my way back from an international vacation. We're flying Aruba to ATL with a 1 hour 14 minute layover then ATL to MSP. How does this process work? We go through customs but will we have to recheck bags or go through security again?
- Is it possible to work as an Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) and a Pilot for the an airline? I'm going to get my A&P license soon and I've decided to do my pilot training next. I was wondering if the airline companies would hire me as a Pilot and an Aircraft mechanic at the same time? Just to be working as a Line maintenance guy when i'm not flying.
