What's the longest nonstop airline flight you've traveled in?
Mine was about 10 hours, Hawaii to Colorado, the peanuts and coke they served as snacks were good, but they served a really funky egg for breakfast, this was 1990 and there wasn't those mini tvs at every seat, slept thru most of the flight cus it was a nighttime AM flight, so I never really had a chance to get bored
London Heathrow to Toronto Pearson International. Many times.
14 hours, Japan to the uk
Singapore to London. 12 hours. 8 is more than enough for me. 4 is fine.
London to Mombasa.
13 hours - never had in flight entertainment in those days either.
Around 16 hours. LA to Melbourne. This was on top of a previous leg from Pittsburgh to Houston, then Houston to LA. That was around 8 hours. Really long trip.
London to Singapore took 14 hours but we did refuel half-way in Bahrain and that took about 30 minutes.
A 747 back in 1980.
Rome to Newark NJ., 4400 miles, 8 hours in a sardine can disguised as a Boeing 777
Probably O'Hare to Abu Dhabi, around 13 hours.
I was also on a C-17 for about 14 hours once.
A little over 11 hours.
Years ago 13 hour scheduled flight turned into 16 hours due to severe head winds
I routinely fly 13 hour flights Texas to hong Kong non stop
- I've been applying to flight attendant positions and was wondering how much notice do airlines give you before you must attend training? How much time do you have to say goodbye to family, friends, etc before you go away to the training program? I applied to Delta, United, and American, so if there are varying time frames per airline, please let me know.

- People who have traveled with Norwegian airlines: do they weigh you personal item? On all the flights I've been on no one has ever weighed personal items i.e. Hangbag, backpack, etc. I thought the weight limit for he carry-on with a lowfare ticket was 10kg but apparently thats a combined weight with you handbag. Do they actually weigh both? Also my bag is 2cm over the size limit do you think theyll notice? your*
- Has anyone traveled around the country/world for at least 6 months? \? How was it? Did you get sick of traveling/going to the airport? Do you recommend it? I would be travelling by myself so I'm worried I would be lonely/feel like a loser sometimes.
