Is aviation going backwards?
According to link qatar airways boom supersonic order shttps://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/qatar-airways-interested-in-supersonic-potential-al-446049/ will any supersonic plane in the next few years change the way we travel will boom or nasa or lockheed martin take over the long haul market
Will booms planes change the way we travel or any supersonic transport
Ahh… Yeah! Maybe you can come back and try again after you have learned to communicate properly in the English language.
Qatar has a lot of money flowing around; most of the rest of the world does not. Supersonic is pointlessly expensive for most of us, and US restrictions on supersonic flight are almost as old as I'm… Half a century. The Concorde tried and failed.
Aviation troll strikes again.
I won't travel on a booms plane.
Your question has a number of errors.
The lack of a supersonic transport does not mean anything is going backward - they were never really a success, The goal of a commercial aircraft is to make money.
NASA is an agency of the US Government, they do not build or operate airliners.
Boom has only produced what is called "vaporware" in IT circles - it's an idea, not a product. Qatar has said they would look at a finished product, and I'm sure many other companies would look at it as well, That's not the same as buying a fleet of them.
As long as there's cost associated with energy, supersonic flight will not take over long haul flight. A new design may produce a more efficient SST than the Concorde, but it will still use more energy than a subsonic flight, and that energy costs money.
People are motivated by cost. About the only airlines that show any growth today are the super discount airlines that offer the cheapest possible tickets, with no frills. I know that when I fly on my own dime, I search flights by cost, and if one itinerary saves me $500 but takes 4 hours longer, that's the one I'm probably going to book.
No, the progress is slow but steady.

- Will it be weird going to Europe if you're Asian? I'm going to France and will go via Air France from the United States. And I'm also Chinese. Would it be awkward in the airplane? I mean, there's all these white people around, and then there's like me, a random Asian person on the plane and when I get to the airport in Paris. Will I get weird looks from people? I'm nervous and very shy.
- Is there going to be a disruptive model in airline industry in the near future 2 or 3 years from.now? There's a talk about supersonic airliners hypersonic electric planes Will airplanes look different in the near future 2023 Like Japan airlines invested in supersonic planes will Japan airlines no longer have boeing 787 dreamliner or any widebody aircraft will 737 or airbus a320 neo fleet be out of production due to electric airliners
- WHAT IS THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF GOING ON HOLIDAY FROM BOOKING TO THE TICKETS TO LANDING IN THE COUNTRY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN? So I have just turned 18 and there are many important things that we're not taught and there's no other way us young people can learn these things. So someone please state the entire process. All I know is that somehow you buy tickets and then there's a whole process in the airport. (Please can you talk about visas, hotels, how long you can stay etc)
- Aviation university? Or just a regular university and then do aviation on the side? I'm currently 15 and going through ground school in january. I want to one day be a major airline pilot. Which is the faster/better route to take?
