Why can't we buy an airline seat for our dogs? Is animal cruelty that they need to go in cargo?

Dogs aren't people. They don't understand the concept of cargo hold. As long as they're comfy they're cool.
Most passengers with dogs just claim their dog is a service dog so the dog gets to fly for free in the passenger cabin. I read online that Delta was flying over 700 service dogs a day, before they started requiring certification that the dog has been through training. Haven't heard how that requirement worked out. It was implemented in response to a pitbull biting a passenger in the face.
Because not everyone wants a dog next to them on an airline. I also doubt you could afford the price of TWO tickets.
Because of the behavior of some dogs and the irresponsibility of some owners.
My dogs could easily fly with me if I were to take them on a flight, in large part because I take them everywhere and they have had lots of super fun training doing all sorts of different things and go everywhere with me, including to work.
However, they will likely never fly and I would drive coast to coast with them before I'd ever put them in cargo.
No pet of mine will EVER ride in cargo on a plane, ever.
Some people are allergic to dogs. Also some dogs are really loud and if they keep barking, no one on the plane will be able to sleep. Also what happens if one of the dogs bites a passenger?
Zots4Me you are a weirdo
- Can airline pilots have service dogs/esa dogs? If so, do they bring them into the cockpit? It's just a question that popped into my head and when I looked it up I didn't see anything on it so I thought I should ask on here and see if anyone knows.
- Will I need a second seat on an airplane? My grade 12 band class is going on a summer break field trip to Ontario next week but I'm worried I might need a 2nd seat. I read a PDF on airplane seats and apparently they range from 17-18 inches and my "surface measurement" is around 23-24 inches. Would the airline be a little more lenient since its a whole class trip? I could use some feedback because I might just end up not going. It would be super embarrassing if I had to get a second seat in front of my class.
- I just volunteered to give my seat up for a travel voucher. Do I even need to show up to original flight? I can drive home in rental? I volunteered my seat upon check in for my flight with united from Chicago to Cincinnati. I could easily drive there and make it back to Cincinnati faster than my original flight in my rental. Do I need to be present at the airport for my original flight to redeem the travel voucher?
- Why they don't convert the A380 into big cargo planes? A380 is no longer in production and airlines are beginning to get ride of them, some were already scrapped. Wound't it make an good giant freighter? Why not?
