Why do you have to take your laptop out your bag while going through security at the airport?
I was wondering why we had to do this…

Yes you do. The reason is so it can be scanned properly as some bags are scan proof.
Electronic such as laptops have been used to conceal drug, explosives etc. Scanning in a bag does not allow for a clear scan, hence the need to remove it from baggage. Any bag found to not show up its contents will be checked further, so I doubt that would be a reason.
- Asthma suffers do you have any problems taking your inhalers through Airport security? I'm off to Canada tomorrow from Heathrow and I have packed two inhalers in my hand luggage, they are in a clear re-sealable bag, I don't have the original box or prescription. Should this cause any issues? Has anyone else had any issues getting inhalers through Airport security?
- At an airport, would I have to take out small electronics out of my luggage during X-Rays? I have a DS and a Nintendo Switch in my bag and it would be quite the ***** to take them out and put them back in.
- Airports - what do you do when a porter asks you for your passport in order to take you to the front of the line? So, you're waiting in a long line at the airport and an airport employee comes up and assertively asks you if he can take you to the front of the line. He then asks you for your passport in order to do so. Has this ever happened to you? How do you respond?
