Has anyone on here ever gotten a legitimate esa letter for your pet and used it to fly on an airline?

The laws regarding ESAs have nothing to do with airline travel. They have to do with housing.
ESAs are pets, not service dogs. Either the airline allows pets or it doesn't.
Check with the airline regarding esa policy. Some are friendly toward them, but since they are not service dogs, they are free to impose their own rules. They may want to see some documentation that the dog has been in obedience training. The airline may ban certain breeds as well.
Yes I have. What I actually got was a form that the airline had, which my mental health professional filled out.
Those letters and forms are only "good" for one year from the date that is on them for most airlines.
This was over 10 yrs ago. Airlines have since cracked down hard due to the number of fakers, incidents with aggressive dogs, and idiots trying to bring random species on board.

: i very strongly doubt it because it would be a fake document. Fraud also carries legal penalties…

- I'm travelling with a 7mo baby on a overseas flight (BA). Anyone who has done it before could you give advise over what went right and wrong? What are the packing items I need to bring with me. Taking in consideration that the airline allows a bag for the baby but with size and weigh restrictions, and bearing in mind that it is a over 12 hrs flight
