Need help validating airline ticket?
Long story short, i bought a ticket to another country with a travel agent because she was also gonna work on my visa…
Well she came through with the passport and visa but she gave me a plain paper with no barcode lol it says "air ticket" with about 11 numbers and a "ref-mlthsr" is that enough to get on the plane? How do i validate its legit?
Ring the airline or check in desk at the airport.
Yes it is enough. All they need is the the actual code. It is somewhere on there. If they give you any trouble, you call the travel agent and say that they won't let me on. After words, they should be able to help you. Unless they suck. (What you explained, they suck big time anyways!)
The number is probably the confirmation number, it should be enough for the airline, but you could always contact them directly to get the full details of your itinerary.
Ask the travel agent for a flight itinerary - that's important because you need the flight times etc, or call the airline to double check your booking.
What you have is your confirmation code. You should be able to go to the airline's website, put in that number, and see your itinerary. You can check in online 24 hours before the flight with most airlines and print out your boarding pass. Or take the number to the airport and print out the boarding pass at the kiosk or show it to the agent when you check your bags and they'll print out your boarding pass.
- (Re-repost) help with plane ticket? (Read the details.)? Alright, let me try and explain this better. I'm 15. I'm flying alone. My parents are buying the ticket. You can't choose 1 child and 0 adults for a ticket. So we went with 1 adult, and had to put my birthday in the year 2000 instead of 2003. My question simply is, Can we explain to the people at the airport desk our issue and how I'm not 18? Thanks. I straightened it out, called the airline. Year is fixed.
- Need help with a flight? My daughter wants to fly to her dads for a week as she didn't see him for ages and the only airline that goes there's Ryanair but she's 15 and they won't under 16 fly on there own and I don't know what to do does anyone think they'd let her past like her dad would pick her up in the airport right after landing and I'd drop her of right by the gates and I can't fly with her over something personal anyone can help me out pleade
- I need help moving pets? I'm moving from California to Arizona and I would like to take my fish but I'm worried how I'm going to get him through airport security or if it's even allowed at all
- I'm confused? Need help with travel question? I'm planning to travel to a foreign country soon. I have bought the ticket already. I live in the USA. I have bought the ticket online and it is a one way ticket. I'm going to buy the return ticket when I'm in that country and ready to leave which may be in a few months after my arrival. My question is do I have to pay for the return ticket in USD or do I have to pay for the return ticket in that country's currency? I will be paying online from the airline's website.
