Trying to get a plane ticket with Southwest Airlines. When trying to open an account it takes my name ok, but when it comes to the address,?

It keeps telling me to enter a valid address. I did give them my correct address! I have tried Chrome, Firefox, and Bing all with the same results. I have tried this many times over two days with the same results. What gives?

Call Southwest and talk to a human.

Without giving us your actual address, make one up that consists of the same elements and add it to your question. Maybe it will be obvious what the issue is.

It's entirely possible they're not programmed to handle enough characters for your street name or town's name, or more than four digits as a house number, or P.O. Boxes, or the abbreviation for Parkway, or two directional abbreviations (like N.W. Pleasant Drive), or any of a host of other things.

Many websites aren't set up for even slightly unusual addresses. My house has a name but no street number, while the street has a number but no name. A lot of sites simply can't cope with this. In those cases I cancel my order and write to tell them why.

Just because you use your 'correct' address doesn't mean it is valid. Use a standard address format. Fill in all fields with dummy information even if you don't need them.

If that still doesn't work, give them a call. 1800IFLYSWA

If you have tried multiple browsers its clearly something with your address. Make sure that your entering your address correctly and you might have to tweek it to make it work. If it helps do not put any punctuation in your address North West should be NW not N.W. Po boxes should be PO not p.o. Also if you have a weird address as sometimes aprartments might be 29-14 any street remove the hyphen and just use a spaceā€¦ It goes without saying but make sure you fill in every field. One other thought. Mobile phones have a tendency to do overkill with auto correct and cookies, try doing this on a desktop if you have not already.
