First and Middle name joined on plane ticket online?

I'm a first time flyer.

Someone purchased a plane ticket from Delta online, he gave me the confirmation code to log in as a guest and I did with my first and last name. I checked on the flight details that my first and middle name are joined together. Will that be a issue when I get to the airport to show my ID?

I'm not travel with a plane in life

It won't be an issue. I'm pretty sure the airline company joined your first and middle names together. My boarding passes often have them joined together.

It happens all the time. Absolutely no problem.

My wife's first + middle name don't fit on the boarding pass, so the last 2 or 3 letters of her middle name are cut off. Even that is no problem.

It shouldn't be an issue. I have had my middle initial show up on boarding pass merged into my first name, but the reservation was correct.
Call the airline if you want to be sure that it is right in the system.

This may or may not be a problem. DHS/TSA is becoming more restrictive regarding this. (This is due to certain security logistics that happens behind the scenes while you are booking your tickets.

Please call the airline to fix the reservation. This would make things much easier. If you are unable to, don't worry about it. Come with your ID and boarding pass. (Worst case scenario, you go through additional screening which will take an extra few minutes of your time.)

  • SEQUENCE OF NAME ON AIRLINE TICKET My name is John Geo Smith. My passport Surname Smith My passport Given Name is John Geo My AIRLINE TICKET name is John Geo Smith Is this correct? Why do some people say last name is suppose to be first then first then middle? Such as Smith John Geo. @Aster Rhoids, just confirmed with airlines… You're wrong.
  • What is the best site to buy plane tickets online? I want to book a flight for a one off trip, I googled my city to my destination and I saw listings from around $175 (spirit airlines) up to $500 (United and other airlines). What are the reasons for such a price gap in airline tickets? Is this accurate? What should I be expecting to pay from Chicago to Texas and what site do you recommend?
  • Trying to get a plane ticket with Southwest Airlines. When trying to open an account it takes my name ok, but when it comes to the address,? It keeps telling me to enter a valid address. I did give them my correct address! I have tried Chrome, Firefox, and Bing all with the same results. I have tried this many times over two days with the same results. What gives?
  • Plane ticket has first, middle and last name but my passport only has first and last name? I'm flying Scandinavian Airlines and my plane ticket has my first, middle, and last name but my passport only has my first and last name. Does anyone have any experience with this or think it will be an issue? I called the travel agency and they told me they could not do anything to correct the middle name. I was also thinking about bringing another form of ID like a birth certificate or social security card to be safe.
