SEQUENCE OF NAME ON AIRLINE TICKET

My name is John Geo Smith.

My passport Surname Smith
My passport Given Name is John Geo

My AIRLINE TICKET name is John Geo Smith

Is this correct? Why do some people say last name is suppose to be first then first then middle? Such as Smith John Geo.

Added (1). @Aster Rhoids, just confirmed with airlines… You're wrong.

Smith, John Geo…

Yes, in the US it should be John Geo Smith as you stated. The surname is always last.

  • First and Middle name joined on plane ticket online? I'm a first time flyer. Someone purchased a plane ticket from Delta online, he gave me the confirmation code to log in as a guest and I did with my first and last name. I checked on the flight details that my first and middle name are joined together. Will that be a issue when I get to the airport to show my ID?
  • Trying to get a plane ticket with Southwest Airlines. When trying to open an account it takes my name ok, but when it comes to the address,? It keeps telling me to enter a valid address. I did give them my correct address! I have tried Chrome, Firefox, and Bing all with the same results. I have tried this many times over two days with the same results. What gives?
  • Plane ticket has first, middle and last name but my passport only has first and last name? I'm flying Scandinavian Airlines and my plane ticket has my first, middle, and last name but my passport only has my first and last name. Does anyone have any experience with this or think it will be an issue? I called the travel agency and they told me they could not do anything to correct the middle name. I was also thinking about bringing another form of ID like a birth certificate or social security card to be safe.
