A 700 foot Class E floor constitutes a transition area for IFR approaches. If an uncontrolled airport has an IFR approach the airspace will either extend down to 700 feet AGL if there are only non-precision approaches or all the way down to the surface if there's at least one precision approach but no control tower. Otherwise, with a tower, it would be Class D. If there isn't an instrument approach, the floor of Class E is 1200 feet.

- Why don't airports use steam catapults and transverse arrestor cables, like they do on aircraft carriers, for extra short take-off & landing? 1. Airports could be pretty tiny with runways no longer than a football field 2. Takeoff and landing (takeoff especially) would be *much* more exciting 3. Airlines could charge people more money because the experience would be much more fun 4. It would save a lot of fuel with much less taxiing around the airfield, and much less fuel used during the takeoff phase
- How soon will the Airports start using these electronic powered airplanes. This will greatly reduce the air polution from Gas powered planes? https://www.google.com/...-show/amp/
- Do you know why some stores at airport ask for boarding pass? Do you know why some stores at airport ask for boarding pass when buying stuff even chocolates, candies or foods? That happened to me when I was in Amsterdam airport.
- Why do some people who book Frontier wait till they get to the airport to pay for checkin luggage when it's more than when you pay online? Like you have a small fee online. If you wait till you're at the airport it's a bigger fee. Are these people irrational?
