Can you rent a car from the airport even if you don't have a flight? - 1
Yes. It's just another car rental location, but it happens to be near the airport.
Absobloddylutely
Car rental agencies huddle near airports for convenience, like a prime business location, same for hotel/motel districts, They rent to anybody qualified, that is what they do.
Normal service
Yes
Yes but prices could be higher. You'll have the best selection however
Yes, I have done that many times.
No one cares at all.
Yes, definitely.
Yes, you certainly can. They're in the business of renting out cars, and don't care whether you ever set foot in the airport otherwise.
Check with the car rental office. A few years ago, when I rented at Newark I had to show a boarding pass to show that I actually flew into the airport that day.
It may have been only that company, and only at that airport, and things may have changed. But seriously, the rental car office would know much better than anyone here.
- I just volunteered to give my seat up for a travel voucher. Do I even need to show up to original flight? I can drive home in rental? I volunteered my seat upon check in for my flight with united from Chicago to Cincinnati. I could easily drive there and make it back to Cincinnati faster than my original flight in my rental. Do I need to be present at the airport for my original flight to redeem the travel voucher?
- I'm taking my first flight ever and it's with Alaska airlines. I don't have a suitcase, so I'm bringing a large duffel bag. Is this okay? I would rather not be charged extra! The bag is a little longer than a normal suitcase but a lot thinner
- What Do people who come to the airport with their own private car do to their Car when it's time to board the plane? Do they ship the car? Do they ship it to wherever they are going or what And if it remains in the parking lot then what car do they use to get to their destination after the plane lands at their destination
- Can I view past flights even if I don't remember them? I used to fly a lot when I was little but I don't remember the flight number and all that. Is there a way I can find out every flight I've been on by let's say for example, entering my first and last name, or my passport # at the time? Or anything like that? At the time my parents didn't have an account with the airline so I can't use that method.
