On which airline can i smoke a cigarette?

I'm traveling from Bakersfield, California to Arlington, Virginia from West to east coast in just a few weeks. I have to know which airline to pick. I can't go more than 1 hour without smoking a cigarette. Gum and patches don't do it for me, I've tried. I need to smoke the actual cigarette. If I don't smoke I could start shaking and won't be able to sleep or enjoy my flight. I've been smoking cigarettes since I was 14. Now in my late 50's…

Please tell me which airline I can choose from. And also if no airlines allow smoking cigarettes, which is the most likely to consider allowing me to smoke a few cigarettes during my flight if I explain my need to them?

Thanks

Added (1). Never had to get on a plane before so didn't know it's illegal.

None.

Ya know, you could try " Allegiant Airlines"… I don't know if they have flights from Bakersfield, CA to Arlington, VA but I remember on my flight to Florida on Allegiant I saw 2 guys smoking cigarettes in the row beside me. The flight attendant did nothing.

If time is paramount, you'll need to hire a private plane. No commercial flights will let you smoke.

If time is not an issue, then consider taking an Amtrak train. There's a station right in Bakersfield, take Amtrak north to Emeryville, then change trains and straight across to Washington, DC. This will be cheaper than a private flight, and if you allow for the extra time, it could be an adventure.

But surely, you don't smoke while you sleep? One option is to drive to a major airport near you, have your smoke just before you get on the plane, then sleep on a redeye flight to the east coast. Wake up in 5 hours, get off the plane, and light up again.

Smoking is not allowed on any US airline - that's the law, it's not up to the airline.

None. Smoking banned first on all domestic flights and later, international ones.
You can charter your own plane and pay the owner extra.
No scheduled airline will allow you to smoke on board, and if smoking in the restroom, you will be arrested.
Flying out of Bakersfield is over $700 round trip to Washington National, and each leg does not allow smoking and neither do airline terminals.
Las Vegas MCcarran has a couple of in-terminal smoking areas
Barneys Lounge | C Gates
Google Maps Bud 29 Track Lounge | T1 Esplanade
Denver International just closed its last smoking lounge.
To smoke in a change of flight, you need time to exit the terminal and pass back through TSA security.
To smoke in Bakersfield should be a shorter trip outside.
LAX Los Angeles to DCA Washington are 5 to 5 and a half hour flights leaving 8AM to 1PM.
Your best path is probably taking a redeye night flight and a sleeping pill.
LAX into IAD Dulles Airport on a cheap overnight flight.
Its 4.5 to 5 hours and you can wear yourself out first.

No matter what, you can't use cigarettes at airports or in-flight, so figure out your best path.
Assumption is to sleep through the flight. Get a comfortable seat and bring a pillow.
Good luck, or don't travel.

Your car. No airline or other public transportation.

Smoking on commercial flights has been illegal in the US since 1990. If you try smoking, you're facing arrest and a fine of up to $5K. The only way to be able to smoke on an airplane is to charter a plane and make sure they allow smoking. They may charge extra due to the costs of decontamination afterward, to get the smoke out of upholstery etc.

Unfortunately, no.

A hot air balloon. Otherwise you take some BS and smoke that. There's no pity going your way dude. Or buy your own plane. Or car. Or train. Or ship. Or walk. Your story is just BS. You are not suppose to enjoy your flight. Chew tobacco. Not gum. Tobacco. Bring a spittoon. 14? My dad started when he was 8 and quit cold turkey in his 50's when he started to cough up blood. With NO AIDS. Just quit. Cigs were getting costly @ .65cents a pack. It is all MENTAL DETERMINATION. Hard as hell for the first 6 months when people around you smoked. But he toughed it out. You can too.

There isn't one. You'll have to charter a jet.

  • Which airline companies pay their future flight attendants during their training, and which airline companies are unionized? I also wanted to know which airline companies pay their future flight attendants during their training time, as well as which ones pay for their housing whether it be at a hotel somewhere or not. And which airline companies pay their flight attendants the best and treat their employees the best?
  • Going on holiday but family don't know i smoke I'm 15 and going on holiday for 2 weeks, i have been smoking almost 2 years and am highly addicted. I'm worried about taking cigarettes and a lighter on the plane because i will get caught at airport security. What should i do? Don't tell me to stop smoking because i'm not planning on stopping!
  • Open cigarette's in carry on luggage? I'm pretty sure cigarette's are fine in carry on but that accounts for an open pack as well, right? Obviously, am not bringing a lighter. Secondary issue; I'm 18 and bought these cigarette's in Washington where it's legal, however I'm flying to California, where the tobacco age is 21. Is this going to be an issue at the airport? I don't know how they would know how old I'm based on my luggage so, just wondering.
  • Which airline is best to work as a flight attendant in? Qatar Airways or Kuwait Airways?
