Do you ever eat at airport restaurants after flying into your home airport? - 3

If not, why?

The other day I was waiting to pick up family members at my home airport and a worker (someone I've known from school) at an airport restaurant said hi and asked how I've been and what I was up to, so I stated that I was picking up family members that are flying in and the worker says "well hey you guys should come by for some dinner on your way out"

I just wondered if there's ever a possibility any of you eat at airport restaurants after arriving into your home airport.

No, People are usually busy gathering up luggage, loading your car or catching a taxi and trying to get home. Lots of times it's to a nice home cooked meal. It's not like you want to drag your luggage into the restaurant in the middle of that. Or pay high airport parking for an extra hour while you are eating.

It's very different than making sure you are at the airport early for a flight and find you have some time to wait and get something to eat. Or a flight with a stop.

I don't think of an airport restaurant as likely being that good. I remember the time I bought a cup of coffee at my home airport and it had been sitting there all day and the worst cup of coffee I ever paid for.

Why do you keep asking this?

You keep re-posting this. Are you advertising airport restaurants?

No, I don't. It's more expensive than eating somewhere else off the airport property and there are more choices if you go somewhere else.

Why do you ask this same question every couple of weeks?
