Travel - fly or drive? Cleveland to Cincinnati.
On google maps it looks like about a 4 hour drive. Would you rather drive fours or fly 50 minutes but have to deal with TSA and showing up early at the airport and waiting around and being a crowded airplane with people coughing and sneezing?
Drive.
Drive
Fly, have a nice trip. May all these and those be stop permanently.
I'd drive it, no question. When you factor in cost, early check in for TSA, and waiting for your luggage at the end, what you end up with is that flying takes about the same amount of time and costs a lot more.
Drive
Definitely drive. It's an easy drive anyway, and you'd spend at least that much time traveling by the time you show up at the airport, get through security, wait for boarding, board, fly, deplane, get to ground transportation, etc. And driving is surely much cheaper too.
I would drive it. No question.
It may only be a 50 minute flight. But you will have to get to the airport at least an hour ahead of time, so that's at least 2 hours, then wait i line to get a rental car, that might be another hour. So now you are up to t least 3.
The flight may be delayed for an unknown amount of time.
I would choose driving every time.
I don't think they have a nonstop flight. If they did, it's a matter of time verse price. Plus, if you'll need a car there, then it would make more sense to drive.
Honestly, unless it's an emergency, I would drive for anything less than 5 hours and fly after that. Same for greyhound or megabus.
Why does it matter to you what any one of us might prefer? It's YOUR trip. All that matters is what YOU prefer.
Drive. If the weather isn't bad, it's an easy drive on I 71 and you'll already have transportation when you get to Cincinnati

- I just volunteered to give my seat up for a travel voucher. Do I even need to show up to original flight? I can drive home in rental? I volunteered my seat upon check in for my flight with united from Chicago to Cincinnati. I could easily drive there and make it back to Cincinnati faster than my original flight in my rental. Do I need to be present at the airport for my original flight to redeem the travel voucher?
