Do you ever eat at airport restaurants after flying into your home airport?

Do you or no? If not, why?

The other day I was waiting to pick up family members at my home airport and a worker (who I went to school with back in the day) at an airport restaurant noticed me and asked how I was and what I was up to, so I stated that I was picking up family members that are flying in and the worker says "well hey you guys should come by for some dinner on your way out"

I just wondered if there's ever a possibility any of you eat at airport restaurants after arriving into your home airport.

NO AS SOON AS YOU LAND THEY WANT YOU TO GET THE **** OUT OF THE AIRPORT! GET THE **** OUT OF THERE! THAT EATING **** IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BOARDING ONLY

I would generally avoid it. Airport dining experiences are invariably more expensive than similar dining experiences outside the airport due to the cost of delivering food and the higher wages airport locations must pay to get people to commute to the airport. But if I had to wait for someone on a different flight to land or something like that I might do it.

Looks as if you spend your entire life picking up relatives from the airport! Perhaps you should try eating there then you might stop asking this inane question each week.

Why do you keep asking the same question, have you no imagination?

Same as last time you asked. Don't you have a life?

Yes, there's a variety of food at the airport.

I don't because airport food is pretty expensive. I would rather buy my food at a restaurant outside the airport.

No, I wouldn't. It's too expensive and there are better places to eat away from the airport. It may also increase the parking cost at the airport depending on how long your car has been there.

Why do you keep asking this? Your going to get the same answer… The guy was doing his job and trying to get you to eat at his restaurant. But again, nobody in the United States lives more then 2 hours from an airport, and if your taking a late flight in, you do not have groceries at home, you can still go to Applebees on the way home and pay half what the one at the airport charges. I know your currious but your not going to get anyone who actually pays airport prices for a sit down meal when they are not on a long layover. I almost never eat at my home airport when I'm flying out either except maybe a soft pretzle. Honestly eating at airport restaurants is for long layovers, and long layovers only

No I usually eat on the way home
