Do you feel that your belongings are at risk when at the airport? And if yes how/why?

Well, thieves are known to work at the most crowded places. Airports are such a place. I never had anything stolen from me at an airport, but I like to think that's largely due to me keeping a good eye on my belongings.

Maybe because there are signs all over the airport warning travelers not to leave their suitcases unattended.

In a really busy airport I get concerned about sending my stuff through the x-ray at TSA. If my stuff gets through the scanner before I do there's the possibility that someone could nik it. I'm thinking of electronics like a tablet or laptop that you have to send through in a bin separately. Those could be quickly snagged and the thief could vanish in seconds.

Not usually a concern for me because I rarely check bags, but the baggage handlers could root through your checked baggage.

I never leave my stuff unattended for fear of theft or it being taken by security as an unattended bag.

No, not really. I keep them with me while at the airport.

  • Did you bring dildo in your checked baggage when you travel internationally before? What's your story in the airport? I know this is some sort of a weird and personal question, but I'm wondering if I can bring 7 inch dildo. Lol! Please don't judge? I just wanted to know if this would cause someone to ask me to open my luggage. I'm travelling to Singapore and US
  • Why do flight attendants hate it when you ask for no ice in your complimentary drink? I've asked for no ice a couple of times and I always get a death stare from the flight attendants. Is it because they don't normally pour in the whole can into the cup and it saves the airline money? I always feel really bad because I don't want to be one of those annoying customers…
  • Do you ever eat at airport restaurants after flying into your home airport? - 1 If not, why? The other day I was waiting to pick up family members at my home airport and a worker at an airport restaurant greeted me and asked how I was and what I was up to, so I stated that I was picking up family members that are flying in and the worker says "well hey you guys should come by for some dinner on your way out" I just wondered if there's ever a possibility any of you eat at airport restaurants after arriving into your home airport.
  • Why do airlines charge you for picking your seat? It's so stupid. Airlines like American Airlines and Delta and wonder why should i be charged for claiming a seat ahead of time. And they'll tell you to upgrade your ticket at a higher price just so you can have extra benefits such as Overhead bin access, Choose your seat and Ticket changes for a two hour flight. This is highway robbery.
