If catching an international flight how long before you need to be at airport?
At least three hours.
Rule of thumb is three hours
The standard recommendation is 3 hours early.
2 hrs minimum
The standard recommendation is two hours before scheduled departure time for a domestic flight, and three hours for international.
Remember that 'at the airport' doesn't mean "still searching for a parking space 15 minutes' walk from the terminal". It means inside the terminal building, in the queue at the correct check-in counter.
I've shown up 2 hours prior on my last couple of flights. I'll get there 3 hours early if there's bad weather.
Three hours is the general rule
It depends on the airport. You have to say where you will start your trip for a valid answer.
Minimum 3 hours
1 hour small regonal airport. 2 hours major airport just to change planes. No need to go back threw security. 3 hours in US on international flights or more. Were security check needed. 5hours if switching planes in China at airport.
- How long can you stay at an airport for after you Land? So I'm heading to Los Angeles (LAX) and I land at 11Am but I can't check into my Airbnb until 3pm. I can just sit at the airport for like a hour or two just to kill some time before I need to check in? Or is that a security threat?
- I've been applying to flight attendant positions and was wondering how much notice do airlines give you before you must attend training? How much time do you have to say goodbye to family, friends, etc before you go away to the training program? I applied to Delta, United, and American, so if there are varying time frames per airline, please let me know.
- Did you bring dildo in your checked baggage when you travel internationally before? What's your story in the airport? I know this is some sort of a weird and personal question, but I'm wondering if I can bring 7 inch dildo. Lol! Please don't judge? I just wanted to know if this would cause someone to ask me to open my luggage. I'm travelling to Singapore and US
