Carried Two Laptops in emirate Airlines?
I've just purchased a Virgin Australia ticket through checkmyflight.com. As soon as I hit "PAY" I realised I'd used Jacqui instead of Jacqueline as my first name. I contacted them straight away and they replied 12hours later to say I would need to pay $340 to alter the name (literally adding 5 letters!). I was under the impression most airlines had a 24 hour grace period for minor changes like this. Is it worth taking the risk and leaving it as is? I've spoken to a couple of seasoned travellers who said that it would probably go unnoticed but I'm not really keen on airport hassles on the day.
So i know this may sound stupid but i need to know. I have a flight today at 4 pm and it says qatar airlines only accept one hand carry bag i have 2 one bak pak and one trolly bag the troly bag weighs at 7 kg and the bak pak weighs at less than 6 will they acknowledge my bak pak as a personal item or do i have to put this as a baggage?
Stuck in Nigeria, airport won't accept my Australian account to pay for my ticket. What should I do? PS its Murtala Muhammed Airport?
Hi. I'm legally blind. How can I fulfill my dream of becoming an airline pilot?
P&L responsibilities for executives in the airline industry?
I need £500 for one way on private jet come back on commercial airline, super yacht hire is £500/hr and supercar hire is £150/hr.
I didn't purchase flight insurance, which is on me, but the policy of the company says I should be able to redeem that ticket as a credit towards a new flight. Now that I'm trying to redeem that credit they re trying to tell me I need to show a doctor s note proving that my family member was sick. I should have gotten the original cancellation in an email and not just done it over the phone, but I didn't realize I d have these sort of issues. I feel like there has to be some sort of rule against asking for family member s medical information. I'm in the USA btw. So any assistance would be appreciated.
Have heard "narita" before?
if yes i wondering…
is "haneda narita" is an airport or an musician?
I have a flight coming up in a few days and I've never flown on my own usually my parents handled the check-ins and baggage, the last time I flew I was in middle school and now I'm an adult. I'm a bit nervous about doing it on my own so I'm trying to get ahead on the matter to be prepared.
My first issue: I'm not really sure where to tell my Uber to park for me? Like my itinerary doesn't inform me of my terminal (if that's where I'm supposed to go to check-in?) and I even looked up my flight number. It just says Terminal N but there isn't a Terminal N on any of the maps for the airport nor does it really pull up on google. It's just showing A-E, T, and F.
Second issue: When I arrive at the airport where do I go first? Check-in? How do I check-in? Is it a kiosk or a person? I keep seeing people say I can do both but then I see videos of kiosks? Then it says I need my itinerary, plus my ticket, and tag for my luggage but then I see it only says I need my confirmation number, my ticket, and tag for my luggage? It's really confusing and over-whelming as all hell.
Third issue: When I check in (It's Southwest Airlines) do I need to do it again at the next airport I change planes or should I be good to go? I saw that mostly I should be okay but I'm not sure.
Anyone who's a frequent flyer from and to Atlanta that could calm my anxieties would be highly welcomed and appreciated!
