Hi I'm flying from New Zealand to Germany and will be stopping in another country as well, I'm really bad with finding my way through airports and I don't like asking people constantly where to go is there some kind of app that can just show me the way through to my gate.

I was flying from Frankfurt to Dublin today and despite a landing attempt the pilot diverted to Belfast in Northern Ireland and forced us all to take a 2.5 hour bus ride down from Belfast to Dublin airport… The pilot was in contact with the airline HQs during this ordeal and had to order us the buses.
I looked at Dublin's airports arrivals and other planes had safety landed during our time period.
What are the chances the pilot will be disciplined or fired because of this? I hope the company at least gave the pilot some talking to for wasting our time.

Okay, so basically, I'd like to know that if you need to catch two planes to arrive at your destination, what do you do when you arrive at the second airport? A few dot points in order of events would be really helpful! What I'd like to know is, what happens first when you get off the plane? How do you find your way to the place where you have to hand in the form you fill out on the plane. And if you have no baggage to collect (which a person wouldn't have to since it's not their destination), how do you find your way to the place where you check in to get the ticket for your next flight? Are people usually given both tickets when they arrive at their own country's airport, or will you have to pick up a ticket for the connecting flight at the next destination? Do you check in where everyone else checks in, because I know that the area where people land is in a separate part of the airport than for travellers who are catching their first flight from that destination.
Sorry, I know these questions might sound stupid, but I don't know where to find these answers. Everyone just seems to… Know what to do. I want to plan a trip overseas, but I'm panicking over where to go if there's a connecting flight and how the whole process works until you arrive at your destination…
What happen if your airline switch a layover to a coutry that you are banned from?
I'm flying out of JFK in a couple weeks. I will have my car, with reserved parking already lined up. I will be coming from the west on interstate 78. Should I try to avoid Manhattan and head south and go around via Staten Island? How much time should I allow? My flight is not until late, so I've got all day.
I prefer night flights. The view of all the city lights and cars passing by below is so relaxing and I love the way airports are all lit up at night.

Why are pilot unions important for the airline pilot?
Especially at airports at arrival flights from Asian countries like China in particular. Not all wear masks but quite a lot do especially the women. Why is this?
