Have you ever encounter a rude airline stewardess?

I asked the airline stewardess for vodka a few days ago and her colleague nearly took my head off. The young one who I was actually talking to was pleasant and smiled, but this older Hispanic stewardess interrupted us and said that it was offensive. When you are flying first class, the customer is always right, but it seems that the old dog forgot that along the way. I called Delta and reported her for being rude and they apologized and offered me a $200 credit. I'm still angry about it and I think they should have fired her.

Will I have to pay a checked baggage fee>?

Ok. In October I will be traveling From the United States to England with a layover in Dublin, and back along the same route via Aer Lingus. I went to the airlines website to read about their luggage policies and I'm a bit confused. It says Transatlantic flights are allowed 1 checked bag free, within certain dimensions and weights. (I'm not worried about my luggage meeting the requirements, I'm a light packer) The thing is the site says that checked bags within Europe will have to pay a fee depending on their weight. Because one leg of my journey is within Europe will I have to pay a checked baggage fee for that leg, or will it be covered because part of my trip is transatlantic? I'm not actually planning on leaving the airport in Dublin. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Glider (Sailplane) Flying in NY area?

Am looking for the best glider flying / soaring airport and club in or near NYC. From the Web I found the following:

Long Island Soaring Association
Manhattan Flight Club
Valley Soaring Club
Wurtsboro airport

Any others? How do they compare in terms of prices, services, etc., etc?

Which airport was this?

Back in the 1990s I remember flying from the US to China with Korean Airlines (it was a 747 I think) and we had a stopover in Alaska before continuing on to Asia.

Which airport in Alaska did they stopover in? Was it Fairbanks? Or Anchorhage?
