Best FAA approved car seat for 15 month old

We have a 9 hour flight next month. Trying to see which is the best choice for a car seat our son can use on the flight. He'll be 15 months, we have his infant car seat but I'm afraid he'll be too big by then. I also bought our flight seats to economy so we have extra room, United airlines. Anyone have suggestions? Something that isn't rock hard!

Is christmas time airfare expensive because there's a lot of people traveling during the holidays and are summer air fares cheaper?

Because my uncle in california says if i go reno nevada for christmas i can't go see my family because sometimes people have holiday plans

He said you go in summers because people are in town

Because everytime i go to reno my family and everyone is in town my my uncle my mom's sister's husband in detroit said to me if i go to reno in the summer i will not go in christmas he said it will to too early to go again in christmas because a lot of people are traveling during the holidaya

For example i looked at southwest airlines ticket from denver to las vegas for 2 adults like me and my mom also tickets were costing a thousand dollars on southwest airlines

What should I do about my flight?

So, I booked a non refundable plane ticket for next month a week ago. I went to check the departure times and realized someone had canceled my flight. I called the airport and told them it wasn't me and that nobody else would have that information but they said they couldn't do anything about it. Any ideas on what I should do?

Do you ever eat at airport restaurants after flying into your home airport? - 3

If not, why?

The other day I was waiting to pick up family members at my home airport and a worker (someone I've known from school) at an airport restaurant said hi and asked how I've been and what I was up to, so I stated that I was picking up family members that are flying in and the worker says "well hey you guys should come by for some dinner on your way out"

I just wondered if there's ever a possibility any of you eat at airport restaurants after arriving into your home airport.

Traveling to a foreign country alone?

In a few weeks, I'll be traveling to a foreign country by myself. I'm from the US and I've never traveled by myself before but, I've traveled with my family on numerous occasions but never by myself. I was just wondering, I forget how you check in to an airport, so what's the process of doing that? I'm just having a mental block, probably because I'm nervous and excited. Also, any other tips for going through an airport, flying, or going through customs?
