Have flight prices massively gone up after the Ethiopia Airlines plane crashed?

Earlier today, I looked up round trip tickets on Delta from Atlanta to Tokyo in July and the tickets were over $3,300 a person! I've never seen them cost that much! Has this happened because of the Boeing 737 MAX aircrafts have been grounded since the plane crash happened in Ethiopia? (I'm also aware that a crash happened back in October with the same type of plane in Indonesia) It just seems ridiculous that a round-trip ticket on Delta non-stop from Atlanta to Tokyo would cost that much. Will tickets ever come down? My dad and I were planning on going to Japan this summer and we don't want to spend that much on tickets…

Why is nasa researching supersonic flight of lockheed's x59 over the continental us Now that the british concorde is out of service?

Nasa is researching how to minimize sonic booms over the continental us So lockheed can sell it's new x59 commercial supersonic transport to airlines for cross country flights. It seems rather late for that. The british already accomplished commercial supersonic flight 50 years ago with their concorde, but congess promptly banned it from flying over the us Claiming it was too noisy.

that ban made flying the concorde impractical and eventually drove it out of business. But now that lockheed, an american company has caught up with what the british did a half-century ago, now nasa wants to make commercial supersonic flight and sonic booms over the us Tolerable. Why didn't they do that in the 1970s when the concorde was flying? Once again, it is obvious that the ban was nothing more than protectionism for american aerospace companies to prevent foreign competitors from gaining an edge in the commercial market.

Now that Trump grounded 737 Max 8 & Max 9 is he right or no?

President Trump earlier Wednesday said the FAA planned to announce that the jetliners would be "grounded upon landing" at their destinations. He said that both pilots and airlines had been notified.

"Any plane currently in the air will go to its destination and thereafter be grounded until further notice," Trump told reporters. "The safety of the American people, and all people, is our paramount concern."

The news comes after Canada's transport minister earlier Wednesday announced the country would be barring the Max 8 jet from its airspace, saying satellite tracking data showed possible but unproven similarities between the Ethiopian Airliner crash and a previous crash involving the model five months ago.
